Robotic stations are production stations equipped with a robot. The robot can be an industrial six-axis robot, a SCARA robot, a delta robot, a Cartesian robot, or a collaborative robot (cobot). Each type of robot has its own advantages and is used for different processes. A robotic station can complement a production line or serve as a standalone assembly machine. In some cases, robotic stations are used for medical applications, such as testing stations (e.g., for COVID) that can be utilized at international airports.
